Karachi's New Year Party

Hundreds of people gathered at Karachi's international food street - The Port Grand on the new year's eve at Downtown Karachi to celebrate and welcome the year 2012. The event is followed by an amazing fireworks show at 12:00 midnight that was telecasted live on various news channels including Geo and Express News.

Various artists including Fakhir Mahmood and Salman Mughal performed for the audience at the function but many have complaint about the entry ticket at Port Grand which is Rs. 300 was not redeemable at any of the food kiosk during that day. The event was only for families and single's were barred from entering the food street.

There was also an amazing light and sound show that mesmerize the audience and gave them a feeling of a night club. Here are few pictures and video of the event. Enjoy!
