Karachi has become the world's biggest city with a metro area population of 18 million people, according to Citymayors stats published recently. The research was carried out in 2010 and 2011 for the population data, City Mayors consulted numerous national and international sources and in cases of large statistical inconsistencies elected to publish cautious averages.
