World Space Week Update 1

A quiz competition was held at SUPARCO Headquarters on 05 October 2010 between students of Private/Government schools of Karachi. More than 100 students from various Private and Government schools participated in the competition.

Teams of Bahria college boys, Habib public school, The Mama Pasi girls school, Chiniot Islamia school and college, Faredi Memorial girls school, Happy Home school, Public school and college, Cresent Bahria School and SM Public school have qualified for the final that shall be held at SUPARCO HQs on Sunday 10 October 2010 during Space family fair.

On 06 October 2010 a Declamation Contest will be held at National Center for Remote Sensing & Geo Informatics (NCRG), SUPARCO Karachi.

Sky Simulation show: During World Space Week celebrations PIA Planetarium is offering free Sky Simulation shows to school students from 05 – 08 October 2010 where SUPARCO scientists are giving lectures and presentations related to space.
