Horlicks Wizkids is now coming to Pakistan. This inter-school literary and cultural competition will be held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad from November 2 to 7.
Syed Sultan Ahmed, managing director, EduMedia, and the brain behind this event, said, "Horlicks Wizkids will bring together highly bright students from South Asia on one platform. Very little is happening to bridge the gap between them. The main idea is to extend this opportunity to children in Pakistan. However, such efforts will obviously have an optimistic result as younger generations do not hold grudges which probably our earlier generations did," he told TOI.
The student response in Pakistan has been overwhelming, with about 5,000 participants likely in each city. The finals will be held in Bangalore where participants from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal and India will compete and the top four will get the title of `Horlicks WizTeam South Asia 2010'. The competition is organized by Krayon.
