The South Korean electronics giant LG has acquired one of the most prominent locations at Karachi’s upcoming Port Grand for its state of the art LG Showcase Outlet, Newspaper quoted. The Outlet will showcase an exclusive collection of LG cell phones and plasma screens.
The initiative promises to be a world-class effort in branding by allowing consumers to experience accessible, convenient and pleasurable shopping, the statement added. It said that the Port Grand will serve as a brilliant branding and visibility platform for other retailing brands as well, since the forecasted footfall numbers range 7000 to 10000 persons each day with over 15,000 on weekends.
Port Grand has entered into similar agreement with Nestle International which will open a coffee house and a bar there.
He said that Port Grand popularly referred to as the Food Street will offer an experience that will put Karachi at par with the likes of Singapore’s Clarke Quay and LA’s Pier 39. all to enhance the livability of Karachi.
Will the bar serve alcoholic drinks because that would be so good if it did.
