Karachi is now seeing a rapid increase in commercial activities with new building and skyscrapers coming up every week and hence the realization for more open and green spaces is on the rise.
Adding to the previous list of Golf clubs in Karachi that includes DA Country Club, Karachi Golf Club and Dream World resort, Airmen is the newest addition. Its idea was conceived in 2003 after looking at the open spaces at Korangi Creek.
It has had a miraculous transition from its sandy brown and chocolate days to the present eighteen lush green fairway and the beautiful greens amid rows after rows of planted trees. Airmen golf took a stroke of genius to harness and recycle the sewerage water to convert a chunk of lifeless and barren land into a breathtaking and enchanting landscape of uninterrupted verdure – a truly nerve-soothing spectacle. The golf club also houses a yacht and a gun club for a truly mesmerizing experience.

ReplyDeleteSimply breathtaking! I never knew Karachi could be an ideal place to play a professional sport like Golf. I hope the international community will consider Karachi to be the venue for PGA tour sometime in the future.
