Karachi to Get its First Children Museum

A new museum is under construction in the city of Karachi dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning and enabling children to realize their full potential.

Built by the Citizens Archives of Pakistan, The Children Museum will be located inside Asia's largest food complex The Port Grand.

The Architects of the museum tries to depict the movement of the site by its twisted louvers. The planned museum follows the site with an elongated body opening into a green outdoor garden, which allows children and visitors to easily navigate through the spaces and exhibits.

The museum will encourage visitors of all ages to play, learn, imagine and create. Their vision is to be recognized as a premier institution serving children and their families while inspiring children to learn about themselves through the arts, literacy, and early childhood education.
