Fringe comic stars raise funds for Pakistan flood victims with special shows

Some of the best comedians performing at this year’s Fringe are getting together for Mock the Strong, 10 nights of cabaret to raise money for victims of the Pakistan flood, including Sean Hughes, Daniel Kitson, Shappi Khorsandi and Stewart Lee.

Some of the best comedians performing at this year’s Fringe are getting together for Mock the Strong, 10 nights of cabaret to raise money for victims of the Pakistan flood, including Sean Hughes, Daniel Kitson, Shappi Khorsandi and Stewart Lee.

The shows are being organised by Simon Munnery, who is also hosting in the guise of 43-year-old youth spokesperson Alan Parker: Urban Warrior.

Mock the Strong takes place at Banshee Labyrinth, Niddry Street, from 9.45pm - 10.45pm nightly from Wednesday August 18.

Entry will be on a first come, first in basis, with a bucket collection at the end to raise money for victims of the Pakistan flood.
